BigWig Solutions was founded in Rochester, NY in early 2008 primarily comprising of local college undergraduates who saw a need for change in the local business climate. Rochester is a study of contrasts, a medium-size city where the new economy grinds up against the old. The city has attracted its share of New Age telecommunications, Internet, and fiber-optics companies, but it also has garnered a negative business stigma with such faltering giants as Eastman Kodak and Xerox.
